Razor's Edge

"...A wonderful sound and definitely wearing (her) own clothes stylistically...I was really into this tune right from the start; great sound...cool modern voicings that provide for a great bed underneath this beautiful song and voice. Again, a real treat! I hope loads of lucky people hear her music."

"This mellow, atmospheric single which is taken from Nita's "View From Here" CD, conjures up visual images...with its...dreamy vocals, haunting harmonies, and melancholic guitar. In part, or in whole, this is the kind of track that a music supervisor needs to keep at the top of their list for future use."

Good Intentions, Much More Than That, & Sister's Solace

"Nita, you rock! You are vivid, imaginative and truly engaging. Wow! You have no bounds! This is one of the most stylisticallly unique artists I have heard in a while. Your range and diversity are immensely impressive. You contain so much talent...just loaded with emotion and depth."

Immortal Schoolgirl & The Lord's Prayer in Aramaic

"Cool stuff, Nita! You are eclectic; you've honed a unique yet appealing sound with "outside of the box" approaches...you certainly pull from your soul and convey a depth of feeling in your singing. You are a talented, engaging artist.

NITA HOPE: View From Here (Self Released)

"Oftentimes, products where a part of the proceeds benefits a charitable cause have some fault or "catch" to them and are musically not very satisfying. Not so with the CD under review here, where the cause is support of breast cancer patients/survivors. Nita Hope is one such survivor and this self-released CD tells her story and deepest emotions as it is rarely seen. Full of vulnerability and strength. And what about the music? A successful mixture of songwriting and dense arrangements filled with groovy funk lines, sophisticated percussion and legit keyboard work, topped off by Nita Hope's clear and memorable voice. No doubt about it, this is a successful disc chock full of soulful songs, definitely not an everyday find!"
